Studio: safer saving, history, FX power automation, key detection
Autosave no longer overwrites the project you saved; a History panel lets you jump back; effects can be switched on/off by automation without a click; and the key can be detected from your notes.
Autosave keeps a separate working copy — Save (Ctrl+S) is the only thing that changes the saved project. Leaving asks whether to save; reopening offers a newer autosave.
History (chevron next to undo/redo): jump to any undo step by what changed, or to a local snapshot — taken on every Save, every 10 minutes of unsaved work, or on demand.
Automate any effect on/off: right-click its power button. A 5 ms crossfade instead of a chain rewire — no clicks, tails ring out, Matryx and other tempo effects stay locked to the grid.
Key → Detect from notes: ranks the most likely keys from the MIDI in your arrangement. Applying a key never moves notes unless you choose to, and it tells you how many would move first.
Loop modes: Whole song follows the arrangement automatically; dragging a region switches to Custom. Play starts from the playhead when it sits inside the loop.
Open in Canvas: a new tab with an album-cover project linked to the song — every save becomes the song's cover. Open in Motion now opens a new tab too.
Left-clicking a lit Solo unsolos (it used to mute underneath). Track ••• menu is movable. Project menu has a plain Save. Linked clips dragged to another track stay linked. Projects show real durations.
